Originally from Rossland B.C., Sidley completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from U.B.C. Okanagan with a major in visual arts and a minor in mathematics. Presently, she works with the ideas of place and time in connection with portraiture and site-specific drawings. Her work has been exhibited in Abbotsford BC and several solo and group shows in Kelowna B.C., including, Drawing from Life, at the Kelowna Art Gallery. One of her drawings is part of the permanent public art collection at UBC Okanagan. Currently, Sidley's work is at the Vernon Public Art Gallery, in the solo exhibition Planes of View.
